UK McDonalds and Van Halen

Who knew?  It turns out British people are obsessed with Van Halen and McDonald’s – at least, according to a new holiday ad running in the UK.

The 90-second spot features hundreds of Brits abandoning their holiday festivities to head for Mickey D’s – all to the sound of Van Halen’s “Jump”.

It also features the oh-so-British tagline “Fancy a McDonald’s?”

Fun fact: the Brits call McDonald’s “Maccies”.
