LINCOLN–(KFOR June 13)–Police have made one arrest related to the June 5th vandalism spree in northeast Lincoln.

Officer Angela Sands says video surveillance and tips led to 18-year-old Cody Slama as a suspect.  He was arrested on Wednesday (June 12) for criminal mischief of over $5,000.

According to investigators on Sunday, a suspect vehicle was found in northeast Lincoln and the owner allowed officers to do a search.  The vehicle, though, is not connected to Slama or his father, but another suspect police continue looking for.  Officers did recover a baseball bat and golf club believed to have been used in the spree.

Most of the vandalism stretched from 35th and Apple to 61st and Vine, according to Officer Sands.

In all, there were 62 vandalism cases which caused over $25,000 in damage to vehicles and homes.  Police say more arrests are expected soon.
