LPD Handling A Suspicious Death Investigation

LINCOLN–(KFOR Oct. 18)–Lincoln Police are in the middle of an investigation on what’s being considered a suspicious death from an incident at a northeast Lincoln home.

On Friday, Officer Angela Sands told KFOR News LPD and paramedics were called to a home near 49th and Fremont around 8:30pm on Oct. 11 regarding an assault.  The victim, 44-year-old Jonathan Olson, called for help and was taken to a Lincoln hospital.

Olson later died at the hospital and an autopsy will be conducted.

There have been no arrests made and police would like to hear from any witnesses or others who may have knowledge about what happened.  The number to call is 402-441-6000.
