Thieves Fishing Out Rent Checks, Money Orders Back At It Again

LINCOLN–(KFOR Nov. 8)–Four northeast Lincoln apartment buildings hit by two people seen fishing out rent checks or money orders from mailboxes last weekend. Now police believe those same thieves are likely behind a few more cases at another north Lincoln apartment building and mobile home court.   Captain Jeri Roeder tells KFOR News there are now at least 60 victims from this theft. She says the people responsible are described as a white male with a skinny build and a heavier set white female.
