Robbery Reported Early Thursday Morning, Hospitalizes One Person

LINCOLN–(KFOR July 4)–Police are investigating what’s turned out to be a strong-armed robbery, where one person was hurt early Thursday morning in a north Lincoln neighborhood.

According to LPD Captain Ben Kopsa, keys and wallet were taken from a man at 31st and Merrill around 2am Thursday.  The victim also suffered injuries during the robbery.

Total loss is at $80 and Captain Kopsa says the victim was taken to a hospital.  His injuries are considered not life-threatening.
