LINCOLN–(KFOR July 3)–On July 2nd, a 21 year old man reported he left his 3 ½ month old Blue Heeler puppy in his back yard from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m in the Capitol Beach neighborhood.  As he was returning home, he noticed a group of juveniles nearby with a puppy but he didn’t pay close attention to them.  He found the gate to his yard was opened and his puppy was gone.  He suspected the group of juveniles may have taken his puppy and went to search but was unable to locate them.  He last saw the group westbound from NW 22ndand W O Street.  The puppy was named Dierks and was wearing a blue collar with white dog bones.  Anyone with information is encouraged to call LPD at 402-441-6000 or Lincoln Crimestoppers at 402-475-3600.
