Child Targeted In Attempted Robbery While Walking Home From School On Monday

LINCOLN–(KFOR Nov. 5)–An attempted robbery Monday afternoon in the Highlands area of northwest Lincoln is under investigation, police told KFOR News on Tuesday morning.

Captain Jake Dilsaver said a car drove by a 12 year old walking in the 700 block of West Jennifer Drive. A passenger stuck a gun out the window and says to hand over his shoes.

“The vehicle, however, left without any injuries being caused and nothing being stolen,” Dilsaver told KFOR News.
