LINCOLN–(KFOR Oct. 23)–A couple of women in their early to mid 70s had their wallets stolen from open purses they had in their shopping carts over the weekend at two Lincoln stores.

Lincoln Police Public Information Manager Erika Thomas says both incidents happened at the Home Goods Store near 27th and Yankee Hill and at Super Saver off of 27th and Cornhusker. She adds there was an attempt to use their credit cards for additional purchases, and fortunately, there was no monetary loss.

So far, no arrests have been made.
