LINCOLN–(KFOR Dec. 4)–Police are investigating a couple of vandalism cases reported late Tuesday morning at two southwest Lincoln daycares.

LPD public information manager Erika Thomas says the first incident happened near 17th and Burnham, where a rock was thrown through a window, leaving about $300 in damage. Officers also found a plastic bag containing a bottle with gasoline inside was found outdoors, about 10 feet away from the window.

An hour-and-a-half later, police were called to an in-home daycare near 11th and “G” Streets, where a rock was thrown through a window that left about $250 damage. No one was hurt.

It’s not clear yet if both of these cases are related.
