LINCOLN–(KFOR Nov. 6)–Crime Stoppers from Lincoln Police this week talks about a case from October 27, where three females were walking back to their sorority on the Nebraska Wesleyan campus, when a truck drove by and the mirror on the truck hit one of the them in the shoulder.

LPD forensics technician Becky Keller says the males inside the truck began yelling at them, so the females yelled back and an argument started. Eventually, the three males walked up to the house, starting banging on the door and rippled off the door handle.

A recent auto theft, where the vehicle was soon recovered, has Lincoln Police looking for some suspects. But your help is needed.  Keller said early on October 11, cameras in the area near 36th and Apple captured two people checking car doors and rummaging through vehicles in a parking lot.

A truck had the keys left in the ignition and the suspects took off in it, out of the parking lot. A few days later, October 14, the truck was found near 31st and “N” Street. Keller says the vehicle was processed for DNA and fingerprints, which are pending.
