UPDATE: Semi Driver Cited In Tuesday Morning Crash Near Bennet

LINCOLN–(KFOR August 21)–A 42-year-old truck driver has been cited, following Tuesday morning’s two-vehicle crash at 120th and Highway 2, Lancaster County Sheriff Terry Wagner said on Wednesday.

Christopher Reyes of Shawnee Mission, Kansas was cited for fail to yield right of way.  Reyes was turning southbound on to 120th Street from westbound Highway 2, when he collided with an eastbound car driven by 42-year-old Dean Scheideler of Nebraska City.

Scheideler had to be rescued from his car.  He suffered some broken bones and is expected to recover.
