Two Road Closures in Lincoln Start Friday Morning

LINCOLN–(KFOR Sept. 26)–Starting Friday, traffic will be shutdown on three streets across Lincoln for work and an event.

In a release to KFOR News, Lincoln Transportation and Utilities said 56th Street from Colby Street to Leighton Avenue will be closed Friday from 9am to 2pm for crane work. Detour in that area will be Holdrege Street to 48th Street up to Adams Street.

Because of an Oktoberfest event, “P” Street from 7th to 9th and 8th Street from “Q” to “O” Streets in the Haymarket will be closed starting at 11am Friday until 11pm Saturday.
