Trail’s Landlord Testifies During Murder Trail

WILBER–(KOLN-TV June 21)–Testimony continued Friday in the murder trial of 53-year-old Aubrey Trail, who, along with 25-year-old Bailey Boswell, is accused of murdering and dismembering 24-year-old Sydney Loofe of Lincoln nearly two years ago.

On Friday morning, the landlord of a duplex where Trail and Boswell lived in Wilber was called to the stand in Saline County District Court, saying he rarely saw them and they sometimes would have rent paid in cash several months in advance.

The landlord said Trail and Boswell always described themselves as antique dealers, but he added there was a strong smell of bleach from their unit November 16, 2017, the day after Loofe was seen alive.
