Teens Accused of Assaulting Man at a West Lincoln Park

LINCOLN–(KFOR Sept. 4)–A 44-year-old Lincoln man was hospitalized on Monday morning, after he was assaulted by three teens at a west Lincoln park.

Police were called to Lakeview Park off of NW 20th and West “Q” Street, where someone reported three males were assaulting the man on the ground and dragged him in the street.  By the time officers arrived, the victim had serious injuries to his face and head and complained of injuries to his ribs.  The man was hospitalized for an orbital fracture and a lung contusion.

Police tracked down a 15-year-old and 17-year-old and and referred them.  A third suspect is still wanted and the investigation is ongoing.
