Teen Referred For Alleged Social Media Threat

LINCOLN–(KFOR Sept. 12)–Lincoln Police say they were contacted by the principal at Lincoln High on Thursday morning, regarding a social media post that threatened violence at the school.

LPD’s threat assessment team and LPS’ security team investigated the situation, along with other posts reported throughout the day. A 16-year-old male student has been referred for allegedly making terroristic threats.

LPD says there are no active threats toward any other LPS schools at this time.
