LINCOLN–(KFOR Sept. 3)–Lincoln Police were busy with another robbery case, this one happening early Tuesday morning at an east Lincoln convenience store.

LPD Lt. Jason Goodwin told KFOR News officers were called around 12:45am to the U-Stop west of 84th and “O” Street, where the clerk reported that a white male walked into the store and went behind the counter.  The suspect, 23-year-old Zakariae Elourtiti, allegedly punched the clerk, took several items and left the store.

Officers searched the area and found Elourtiti in possession of the stolen items and fitting the suspect description.  He was arrested for robbery.
