WAVERLY–(KFOR Oct. 21)–Stolen merchandise was recovered over the weekend, when a traffic stop was made between Lincoln and Waverly.

Lancaster County Sheriff’s deputies pulled over a speeding car along Highway 6 near Interstate 80 around 5:30pm on Saturday evening and happened to find close to $7,000 worth of stolen clothes, purses, coats, some of which with price tags on them.

The merchandise was stolen from several Lincoln stores, including Walgreen’s, TJ Maxx, Dollar Tree, Victoria’s Secret, American Eagle, among others.

Three women from Omaha, 22-year-old olds Tynisha Jones and Simone Lewis and 24-year-old Kasandra Rolling, were put in jail.  Lewis had two active arrest warrants, according to Sheriff Terry Wagner.
