Slipknot drops new stand-alone single, “Bone Church”

Surprise! Slipknot has a new song.

The masked metallers have dropped a stand-alone single called “Bone Church.” The track arrives just four months after the latest Knot album, The End, So Far, dropped last September.

“On the road, we have a ‘jam room’ set up backstage at every show, where we play, practice, warm up and sometimes try out new ideas,” says percussionist M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan. “‘Bone Church’ started life in a jam room on the .5: The Gray Chapter tour. We’ve been bringing it closer and closer to life ever since, and finally, here it is.”

Clown adds, “This one is for the fans — a further vision deeper into Slipknot’s history, which is still being written.”

You can listen to “Bone Church” now via digital outlets. Its accompanying video, which features reworked footage from the video for The End, So Far song “Yen,” is streaming now on YouTube.

Slipknot will be touring throughout the world in 2023, including headlining Knotfests in Australia, Japan and Italy. They’ll also be back in the U.S. to play the Rock Fest and Welcome to Rockville festivals.
