Q.P. Ace Hardware To Expand On Former Ideal Grocery Lot

LINCOLN–(10/11 NOW June 13)–When Ideal Grocery burned down in 2016 near 27th and Randolph, neighbors hoped another grocery store would take its place. It won’t. Instead, Ideal’s neighbor, Q.P. Ace Hardware, bought the land and will double in size to 14,000 square feet. Work hasn’t been able to start because of the weather, but project manager Neil Long told our partner, 10/11 NOW, expansion should be ready early next year at a cost of almost $1.5 million.
