No More Live Blogging, Tweeting or Instant Information In Trail Case, Judge Says

WILBER–(KFOR June 20)–A Saline County District Judge has ordered a ban on live tweeting, blogging or other instantaneous information sharing during the murder trial of Aubrey Trail. Wednesday evening, Judge Vicky Johnson said blog, twitter and other social media comments about the case have the court concerned about security, maintaining the juror’s impartiality and the rights of both parties to a fair trial. She also said blog, twitter and other social media comments about this case have referred to court personnel in derogatory terms. Trail is accused of killing 24-year-old Sydney Loofe of Lincoln in November of 2017.
