Movies In The Park Returns

Free movies in the parks is set to begin Friday, June 14th. The newest addition to the Party in the Parks program will feature seven movies in Lincoln parks through August 9th.

All movies are rated PG and will start at 8 p.m. or once it is dark enough. In case of bad weather, the movies will be shown in adjacent recreation centers.

Outside food is allowed, but food, snacks and drinks will also be available from vendors at each event. Attendees are advised to bring their own chairs and blankets. The schedule is as follows:

Thursday, June 20, Air Park Recreation Center, 3720 N.W. 46th St.
Thursday, June 27, Irving Recreation Center, 2010 Van Dorn St.
Friday, July 12, Shildneck Bandshell in Antelope Park
Wednesday, July 31, Belmont Recreation Center, 1234 Judson St.
Tuesday, August 6, Calvert Recreation Center, 4500 Stockwell St.
Friday, August 9, Shildneck Bandshell in Antelope Park
