LINCOLN–(KFOR Sept. 10)–A 35-year-old Lincoln man has been cited for DUI, after he tested more than three times the legal limit following a crash late Monday night along South Folsom Street between West “C” and West “D” Streets.

Lincoln Police say an SUV, 2024 Chevy Traverse, was northbound, when the driver lost control, hit a utility pole, crossed the street onto a sidewalk, then through two fences before hitting a parked car in a driveway and another fence. Police say the glass door of a home was shattered and a large metal mailbox was lying in the front yard near the door. Police did a breath test on Nolan Tobey, where his blood-alcohol content tested at .292.

Tobey was cited for first-offense DUI, willful reckless driving, driving left of the center line and driving within sidewalk space.
