LINCOLN–(KFOR Oct. 5)–An update to the crash Wednesday night along 56th Street between Russell Drive and Morton Street in northeast Lincoln that injured two people.

According to Lincoln Police, two people were changing a tire when they were struck by a driver in a pickup truck, who then fled the scene on foot and was captured a block away. Police Captain Todd Kocian tells KFOR News 58-year-old Timothy Bridge showed signs of impairment and was arrested for DUI, reckless driving and failure to stop and render aid.

Injuries to the two people are not serious.
