LPD Investigating Shots Fired Call In South Bottoms Neighborhood

LINCOLN–(KFOR Oct. 23)–Police are investigating another report of shots fired in another Lincoln neighborhood,  not even two days after one that happened near 25th and Holdrege.

Captain Jake Dilsaver tells KFOR News the latest incident happened around 11:30pm Tuesday in the 7th and “C” Street area.  He says officers found a home that suffered damage from gunshots.

“One of the residents had an idea of who it could have been, but we’re currently pursuing that possibility,” Dilsaver told KFOR News.

As of 6am Wednesday, no arrests had been made.  For now, it doesn’t appear this case or the one early Monday on North 25th are related.
