LPD Arrests Two Suspects in Wednesday Morning Burglary

LINCOLN–(KFOR Oct. 16)–Two people were arrested early Wednesday following a storage unit break-in near SW 20th and West “O” streets.

Lincoln Police Sgt. Chris Vollmer says officers were called shortly before 3am to Sark Mini Storage, after a 50-year-old man found two people he didn’t know inside his storage unit. The man told police that the suspects took off in a truck and gave a general description on which direction they were heading.

Officers found the truck near the 27th Street and Interstate 80 interchange and conducted a traffic stop. Arrested were 42-year-old Christopher Biles and 31-year-old Krysta McIntire for burglary and possession of burglar’s tools.

Sgt. Vollmer says after Biles was cited, he was taken to a Lincoln hospital for an unrelated medical condition.
