The Lancaster County Board of Commissioners approved $50,000 to grant 150 youth all-access passes for the Rabble Mill, formally The Bay.

Andrew Norman, Executive Director of The Bay, said “the all-access pass aims to give youth opportunities to experience skills training and essentially a place to be, something to do, and someone who cares, that they may not otherwise be able to afford.”

The all-access pass will provide the 150 youth an after school meal every day as well as access to all of the programs and services at The Bay.

Norman explained how The Bay offers the state’s only indoor skate park, an all-ages concert venue, and a digital arts facility.

“We know that not every kid wants to play traditional athletics, and so kids can come to our facility every day of the week and skateboard, attend concerts, and work in the digital lab,” said Norman.
