LINCOLN–(KFOR Oct. 14)–A 43-year-old Lincoln woman is accused of having a controlled substance, plus several key fobs, and driving a stolen vehicle.
This happened Saturday morning, when officers found out Laura Edwards was showing up to the old Shopko lot at 27th and Highway 2 in a white Mercedes Benz. Police say Edwards gave a false name and a mobile fingerprinting system proved she lied.
Police say the car was stolen out of Oregon, after confirming with a dealership’s inventory.
Officers also recovered the key fobs and found the drug ritalin inside the car. Police say they were apparently tipped off by someone upset with Edwards.
