Lincoln Police Respond to Shootings

Lincoln Police Department responded to a shooting multiple shootings throughout Friday evening into Saturday morning.

LPD responded to reports of gun shots near NW 20th and Q at 9pm Friday night. Once LPD arrived shell casings and blood were found on the scene. Officers reported that an injured 37 year old male later arrived and said that he was shot when someone tried to rob him. The victim was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. There are currently no suspects.

Police then responded to reported gun fire at 4:30am this morning around the 3400 block of Porche. Reports say there was multiple gun shots in the area and LPD found shell casings outside of building and bullets inside.

Both shooting investigations are still ongoing.
