Lincoln Man Sentenced to 40 Years for 2016 Robberies

A 27-year-old Lincoln man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison for his roles in six armed robberies.

Shawn Brooks and his co-defendant, Marcus Remus, robbed one bank and five convenience stores, in Lincoln, in November and December of 2016.

Both men were armed and fired shots in several of those robberies.
