LINCOLN–(KFOR Aug. 30)–A crash Thursday evening just south of Lincoln leads to an arrest for second offense DUI.

Lancaster County Chief Deputy Sheriff Ben Houchin says a flatbed truck being driven by 34-year-old Jeremy Dinges of Lincoln ended up on its side near 54th and Bennet Road and fuel was leaking. When deputies arrived, Houchin said they could smell a strong odor of alcohol coming from Dinges’ breath. A blood draw was done, but the blood-alcohol content hasn’t been determined.

Houchin says that Dinges did show signs of impairment. Dinges was treated for a cut on his head.  The area was shut down for a period of time to clean up the fuel spill.
