LINCOLN–(KFOR Sept. 3)–A robbery shortly after 11:30pm Monday results in an arrest of a 47-year-old Lincoln man.

LPD Lt. Jason Goodwin tells KFOR News officers were sent out to the Casey’s off of 25th and “O” Street, where a man walked in, took a bottle of alcohol and left without paying. When the suspect was confronted, he pulled out a handgun and threatened several people before running off. A search of the area later found Francis Mesteth and a realistic-looking replica gun was found.

Mesteth was arrested for robbery, terroristic threats and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.
