Lincoln and Lancaster County Health Department is holding a Household Hazardous Waste Collection on October 12th. Accepted items include pesticides, lawn and garden chemicals, household cleaning products, paint thinners and more.

Waste that is not accepted include motor oil, antifreeze fertilizers, gas grill cylinders, medicince and pharmaceutical waste, electronics, and batteries.

The event is free of charge and will be from 9am to 1 PM at the Lincoln/Lancaster County Health Department parking lot at 3131 O St.
