Lightning Strike Causes Fire at NW Lincoln Home

LINCOLN–(KFOR July 1)–A house in NW Lincoln was hit by lightning over the weekend.

LFR was called to the scene near NW 41st and West Huntington Avenue just after 1 Saturday afternoon, where lightning hit the roof and caught the attic on fire. No one was hurt.

Damage estimates are around $100,000.
