Lied Center 30th Anniversary Tickets on Sale Thursday

The Lied Center for Performing Arts at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln has announced its 2019-2020 Anniversary Season.

In celebration of its 30^th year as Nebraska’s Performing Arts Center, the Lied Center has booked a historic season featuring marquee artists in every art form, including opening with the Grammy Award-winning St. Louis Symphony; Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s stunning Wizard of Oz; Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis; the legendary dancer and choreographer Bill T. Jones; top comedian Brian Regan; Grammy and Gramophone Award-winning pianist Murray Perahia; Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood Live!; Broadway’s Kelli O’Hara; and the Boston Pops on Tour playing the music of John Williams, to name just a few.

Single Tickets go on sale for the Lied Center’s 30^th Anniversary Season on August 8 at 11:00 a.m. Tickets are available online at LiedCenter.org, by phone at 402-472-4747, or in person at the Lied Center Box Office, 301 N. 12^th St.

Season tickets are also on sale. Patron will receive a 10% discount for season ticket orders including four to seven events. Orders of eight or more events will receive a 20% discount. UNL students can place season ticket orders and receive a 10% or 20% discount, in addition to the 50% discount all current UNL students receive on Lied Center tickets.
