Cream Defeats Scarlet in Husker Softball Fall Series

In the third Nebraska softball scrimmage of the fall on Wednesday night at Bowlin Stadium, the Cream defeated the Scarlet 10-4. Jordy Bahl claimed the pitching victory for the Cream, making her 2-0 on the fall season season.

Jays Ranked 14th in Coaches Preseason Basketball Poll

The Creighton men’s basketball team earned the No. 14 spot in the preseason USA Today Coaches poll that was released on Wednesday. The Bluejays are one of three BIG EAST Conference teams represented, joining No. 3 Connecticut and No. 17 Marquette.  Kansas earned the top spot in the poll, earning 15-of-31 first-place votes to edge out Alabama by 25 points. Creighton is picked to finish second in the Big East this season, behind two-time defending national champion UConn.
