HUSKER FOOTBALL: Kentucky WR Gilmore Heading to NU

The Nebraska football team has reportedly added a second wide receiver from Kentucky in Hardley Gilmore IV out of the NCAA Transfer Portal. Gilmore, a four-star true freshman, had six catches, 153 yards and a touchdown this season for the Wildcats.

 

HUSKER WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: Nebraska Suffers Road Loss at No. 4 USC

Logan Nissley led Nebraska with 14 points on four three-pointers, but the Husker women’s basketball team dropped its third straight road game to a top-15 foe with a 75-55 loss at No. 4 USC at the Galen Center on Sunday afternoon. Britt Prince added 10 points and matched a career high with eight rebounds for the Huskers, who slipped to 10-4 overall and 1-2 in the Big Ten.

Creighton Women’s Basketball Team Earns Win Over Butler

Lauren Jensen and Jayme Horan combined for 19 points in the second half as the Creighton women’s basketball team held off Butler, 68-64, to open 2025 on Wednesday afternoon in Omaha. Creighton won for the 10th time in the last 11 games and kept place atop the league standings with No. 7 UConn.
