Bad Weather Postpones HS Football Opener

The Lincoln East and Elkhorn South football game has been delayed until 4:30pm Friday at Seacrest Field, after bad weather occurred on Thursday. It had been moved to Thursday at 4:30, from the original 7pm kick Thursday night due to the forecast. The second game between Lincoln North Star and Lincoln Southwest Friday night at Seacrest will start at 8pm.

HUSKER VOLLEYBALL: Ameritas Players Challenge Set for Friday and Saturday

The No. 2 Nebraska Volleyball team hosts the Ameritas Players Challenge at the Devaney Center tonight (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday). The Huskers take on Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at 7 tonight (Friday) on Nebraska Public Media, then play TCU tomorrow night (Saturday) at 7 on Big Ten Plus. The Huskers are coming off a three sets to one victory on Tuesday night against No. 9 Kentucky in Louisville.

Husker Soccer Rained Out Thursday

Nebraska women’s soccer team got rained out on Thursday night and their match with Omaha will be rescheduled to a later date to be determined. The Huskers will play in-state rival Creighton Sunday afternoon at 1:05 at Hibner Stadium.

SALTDOGS BASEBALL: Lincoln Drops Season Finale Home Game to Cleburne

A rain-shortened ending the final homestand of the season for the Lincoln Saltdogs on Thursday night, as the ‘Dogs fell 2-1 in seven innings to the Cleburne Railroaders. Lincoln wraps up the season with a four-game weekend road series at Winnipeg. Coverage of game one is tonight beginning at 6:30 on KFOR.
