LINCOLN–(KFOR Oct. 21)–Nebraska football sophomore running back Maurice Washington is not listed on the depth chart for this Saturday’s game against Indiana.

His overall future in the program is uncertain.

“He’s not of the team right now, going into this week,” Husker head coach Scott Frost told reporters at Memorial Stadium on Monday afternoon.  Frost says there are standards the players are expected to uphold, if they want to be part of the team.

“When those standards aren’t upheld, it doesn’t matter who it is, they’re not going to be part of our plans that week or potentially longer,” he said.

Frost replied with “no”, when asked about Washington’s pending court case in California.  Frost did acknowledge that Washington did not practice Monday or all of last week.

As far as he knows, Frost said Washington is still attending classes.
