Handgun Taken From Vehicle in Lincoln

A handgun was stolen from a pickup in downtown Lincoln last night.

A 40 year old South Dakota man was staying at a hotel, and left his pickup in the parking garage near 8th and R Street overnight. When he returned to it this morning, he found his 9mm Glock was missing from the center console.

Police said there were no signs of forced entry and the man wasn’t sure whether he locked it.
