Handgun Found in Backyard

A Lincoln woman called police Tuesday morning after discovering a loaded handgun in her yard.

Information officer Angela Sands told KFOR News a 76-year-old woman found the gun buried in mud outside of her home in the 2300 block of N 3rd Street.

LPD is investigating where the gun came from.
