Gunfire Reported Wednesday Night in Central Lincoln Neighborhood

LINCOLN–(KFOR Jan. 2)–Gunshots late Wednesday night in central Lincoln.

LPD was called out to the area around 32nd and Potter shortly after 10pm, on a report of six to eight gunshots. Lt. Jason Goodwin tells KFOR News a dark-colored sedan was seen leaving the area. No damage was found and no one was hurt. About five minutes later, police were sent out to a hit and run crash at 27th and “W”, where several males were seen running from the car. Lt. Goodwin says the investigation shows the vehicle was related to the shooting.
