LINCOLN–(KFOR Oct. 28)–Police are investigating who was behind firing off gunshots in a northwest Lincoln neighborhood early Saturday morning, where an apartment building was hit and damage was done.
Officer Angela Sands told reporters Monday morning an 18-year-old woman called LPD around 4:30am Saturday about at least 10 shots being fired at Portia and Knox Streets. Officers showed up and people were running away. Further investgiation showed at least eight bullets hit the building, one of them found in the wall and two windows were damaged in a lower level unit.
Casings from two guns were recovered, according to Officer Sands.
No one was hurt and no one has been arrested.
