Ghost premieres new version of “Spillways” featuring Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott

Ghost has premiered a new version of “Spillways,” featuring Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliott.

The “Pour Some Sugar on Me” rocker lends his vocals to the Impera track, which Ghost first teased on Wednesday.

Impera was my favorite rock album of 2022,” Elliott says. “I found out along the way that [Ghost frontman] Tobias [Forge] is a bit of a fan of DL, so I guess it was inevitable we’d both find out about each other!”

Elliott adds, “Once we’d been introduced to the idea of working together it just snowballed organically and I’m thrilled that I got to sing on what is my favorite song from that album!”

You can listen to the updated “Spillways” now via digital outlets.

Impera, the fifth Ghost album, was released last March. It also includes the singles “Hunter’s Moon” and “Call Me Little Sunshine.”
