Firefighters Battle Garage Fire Early Wednesday in West Lincoln

LINCOLN–(KFOR Sept. 11)–A three-stall garage is likely a total loss from a fire early Wednesday morning in west Lincoln.

According to Lincoln Fire and Rescue, crews were called out to the area of NW 27th and West “O” Streets, where they encountered the garage fully involved in flames. No one was hurt. It took firefighters about 30 to 45 minutes to put the fire out. Some power lines were brought down by the fire, knocking out power to some mobile homes in the area for a few hours.

Power has since been restored. No word yet on what caused the fire.
