Fire Shuts Tenth Street In Near South

A fire in an older two story house at 1311 South 10th Street shut down northbound traffic on 10th for most of Monday afternoon’s busy drive time.  The fire was first reported at 3:38 PM.  Fire fighters found smoky damage in a second floor rear bedroom.  No one has been reported hurt.  The damage estimate, and cause, will be determined by an inspector once the fire is out.
