Fire Destroys Garage, Damages Two Homes in Central Lincoln

LINCOLN–(KFOR July 28)–Lincoln Firefighters battled a fire that destroyed a detached garage and damaged two nearby homes late Sunday morning in the area of 29th and “F” Street.

Investigators say an electrical malfunction in the garage is to blame for starting the fire. Three people have been displaced for now. Total damage amounts to the garage and two homes is at $100,000.

No one was hurt.
