District Pairings Released For Lincoln Area Volleyball Teams

LINCOLN–(KFOR Oct. 25)–Pairings for district and sub-districts in high school volleyball were released Thursday by the Nebraska School Activities Association.

In the Class A districts, Lincoln High is the the No. 4 seed and will play Omaha North in the play-in match Monday at 6pm, with the winner to play Tuesday at 6pm against top-seed Papillion-LaVista South.  In the A-3 district, Lincoln Northeast is a No. 3 seed and will play No. 2 seed Lincoln East on Tuesday.  Fremont is the top-seed.

Lincoln Southwest is the No. 1 seed in the A-4 district and will play Tuesday against Monday’s winner between Lincoln Southeast and Omaha Buena Vista.  In the A-6 District, Lincoln North Star is the No. 2 seed and will play Omaha Westview on Tuesday.  Grand Island is the top-seed in the A-6 district.

In the B-4 subdistrict, Waverly is the top seed and will play Nebraska City on Tuesday.  Norris is the No. 1 seed in the B-5 subdistrict and will play Tuesday at 6:30pm, against the winner between Lincoln Northwest and Beatrice.  The other half of the bracket has Lincoln Standing Bear playing Lincoln Pius X.

Wahoo is the top-seed of the C1 Subdistrict 1 bracket and will play Monday at 7:30pm against the winner of the 4:30pm match between Lincoln Christian and Syracuse.  The other part of the bracket has Raymond Central playing Conestoga.

Lincoln Lutheran is the top-seed of the C2 Subdistrict 1 bracket and will play Monday at 7:30pm against the winner between Elmwood-Murdock and Tekamah-Herman.

Parkview Christian is in the D2 Subdistrict 2 tournament and plays Mead on Monday, with the winner to play Omaha Christian Academy.
