The Nebraska Department of Transportation released the number of traffic fatalities for July 2019.

Twenty people were killed in traffic crashes on Nebraska roadways in July. Sixteen total crashes occurred, with fourteen of the eighteen vehicle occupants killed were not wearing safety belts.  Two of the fatalities were motorcyclists, and one crash involved a train.

A year ago, there were 25 fatalities in July of 2018.
