Deadly Stabbing Late Saturday Night in Northeast Lincoln
LINCOLN–(KFOR May 19)–Lincoln Police are investigating a deadly stabbing that happened shortly before midnight at a home near 64th and Adams.
According to a release from LPD to KFOR News, there was a fight beforehand and when officers arrived, they found a 16-year-old male who had been stabbed in the chest. Officers offered aid to the victim, before he was taken to a Lincoln hospital and later pronounced dead.
A 14-year-old Lincoln male is in custody for the stabbing. The names of those involved are not being released at this time because of the age of both people involved and allowing family notification.
Officers are still processing the scene at a home in the 3000 block of North 64th Street and traffic will be restricted for now.
