LPD forensics technician Becky Keller on Wednesday said last Wednesday night, around 8:30pm, a man walked into the Super Saver near 56th and Nebraska Parkway and concealed a bottle of Smirnoff vodka down his pants.  The bottle broke and alcohol spilled inside his pants and onto the floor.

Keller says the suspect then concealed another bottle of Smirnoff in his pants, then slipped an fell on the mess he first made.  The man then left the store and got into a red SUV.

In the hit and run case from Oct. 30 around 8:45am on the northeast corner of 33rd and Holdrege, by UNL’s East Campus, where a witness reported he was stopped and a vehicle behind him swerved and slammed into a light pole, knocking it over.
